Art is one way I explore life.​

I believe curiosity is an invitation.

​

When something catches our curiosity, we have a choice. We can ignore it, or follow it. 

​

When we choose to explore it, I believe we begin to pay closer attention to ourselves, others, and the world around us. We also begin to notice everything we feel and experience in between. 

​

Being intentional with our attention doesn't always change our circumstances, but it may change the way we experience them. 

​

Whether I am painting a landscape, creating an abstract, filling a sketch book, writing something or pondering a question, everything is connected. Each creation informs the next. Nothing is created in isolation, because neither are we.

​

My work is an invitation to slow down, pay attention and reconnect with ourselves, with one another and with the beautifully complex world we share. 

​

My hope is that it encourages you to notice something within yourself or in the world around you that you hadn't seen before, but perhaps had been there all along.
